If you’ve ever made the trip to Northern Quarter’s Sicilian NQ, you’ll no doubt be astounded by its traditional family dishes and vast menu of freshly made food.

The restaurant has recently added a number of new items to its online website including Italian desserts, specially made oils, sauces and gift boxes to celebrate special occasions and allow customers to recreate its specialist dishes at home.

Imported from straight from the sunny isles of Sicily, you can now purchase a range of oils including; farm, garlic, lemon, oregano, rosemary and oregano salt that is collected using ancient methods and artisanal instruments in Trapani, a historic salt evaporation pond that was used during the Phoenician times.

Baba In Love’ is also available to purchase – a sticky, sweet sponge dessert that you can pair with either limoncello, rum or dark rum. They’re the most famous Neapolitan dessert in the world, and can be included as part of the restaurant’s new gift boxes.

The gift boxes are made to order and can be customised to suit all tastes, with homemade limoncello, cannolis and a speciality jar of Capers from Pantelleria ‘Pate’.

The spread is made from Sicilian capers, which are arguably some of the best in the world, bursting with fragrance and flavour and extensively used in the Mediterranean Diet. Sicilian NQ also uses this spread in its swordfish ravioli and sunshine bruschetta, so if you’re looking to recreate these dishes from home make sure you bag some.

Pick up is available at Sicilian NQ usually 24 hours after purchase. The restaurant also offer local delivery to those in the surrounding area. You can shop the full range of deli products via the link below.
