Native Manchester and Ducie Street Warehouse have announced a collaboration to present HEADS – a photo exhibition featuring the portraits of 30 creative individuals in Manchester.
These photos will be showcased at the towering Atrium in Native Manchester for a limited time only, open to the public Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd July, from 11am until 7pm – priced at £5 per entry.
HEADS is the brainchild of Keenan Bettany and Liam Heeley, two young and passionate creatives who have been friends for a few years.
Both budding photographers in Manchester, Liam’s work has seen him photograph the likes of Floyd Mayweather, and the two had discussed the idea of creating an exhibition that showcased the incredible talent Manchester and the North has for the past few years.
Following this discussion, Keenan and Liam felt the need to shine a light on the city’s creative scenes and its individuals who have all contributed to making Manchester one of the greatest creative cities in the world.
Some of the individuals featuring as part of the exhibition are; producer, Why Jay, digital artist, Numan Khan and editor-in-chief, Kya Buller, amongst many others.
Presenting an exhibition of truly Northern talent, Keenan and Liam will also launch HEADS magazine which will be available at the exhibition, bookshops UNITOM and Village, and online at www.headsmag.com – priced at £20.
The exhibition will give Manchester a platform to showcase its creative capabilities as a collective regionally and nationally. HEADS hopes to reignite the flame in the city and inspire the wider communities.
