Lanx Shoes specialises in quality leather footwear, creating “proper shoes”, for the boardroom and bar. All shoes are made from fine British sourced textiles.

Each collection has stylish broguing and unique embossments including a stamp of the Lancashire rose and British white bull.

The store in Northern Quarter currently stocks Men’s and Women’s footwear and socks.

There is also a large self-order kiosk where you can have a browse of their extended collection – which includes clothes from their website – and order whatever tickles your fancy.

Manufacturing a shoe is similar to painting a piece of art, you’re either good at it, or you should probably just stop …

That’s why founder of Lanx, Marv, spent two years, researching, designing, sampling and testing to create quality, business casual shoes that are fit for any occasion.

In these two years he visited some of the largest factories and smallest shoe workshops in the UK and the world, to learn how shoes should properly be made.

Lanx only make a limited number of pairs in each style, meaning each individual Lanx shoe is given the attention needed to maintain the high standard of production they set themselves.

By the time the shoe reaches your foot, at least twenty different people have been involved in the meticulous process.

They are currently open from 10am – 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 5pm on Sunday.
