Founded in Russia by Ivan Meetin back in 2011, Ziferblat is a new kind of social space where guests pay just 6 pence per minute for the time they are using the space, and everything else is free. Yes, EVERYTHING!
Like an extension of your own home, all of Ziferblat’s guests are welcome to help themselves to the Ziferkitchen with tea varieties, fresh Ancoats coffee, soft drinks, biscuits, brownies, cakes, cookies, fruit, cereal, toast and snacks.
For your 6p you also get to work or play with the fee including 100mb Wi-Fi, lots of board games, books, a piano, a record player, a smoking balcony and a craft corner. Ziferblat opens from 10am until 10pm daily so there’s plenty of time to spend your valuable time inside.
Development at Ziferblat has continued since they opened the ‘lounge’ area in February and the other half of the plot now has 4 rooms to hire for events and meetings. These rooms are all styled in different decors including an arts studio, a primary school classroom, a vintage dining room and a Russian lounge. They really must be the most unique meeting rooms in Manchester. For more info on the rooms head over here.
The final touch at Ziferblat is a full events schedule of classes and events including a knitting club, guitar class, indoor markets, harmonica lessons, martial arts, yoga, open mic nights and gigs, with more and more being added to the schedule every day. For more info on the events pop over here.
Meet a friend for a brew and a slice of cake or head in and do some work.
