After almost a year of their extremely popular Wine & Cheese evenings Home Sweet Home have decided to switch things up and bring a new and more exciting element to the food side of the evening with the introduction of Wine & Tapas.
On arrival, each guest will be greeted with a glass of their finest fizz before their wine expert begins his tasting. Throughout the night everyone will taste two white wines, two red wines and a dessert wine. These wines will be especially hand picked for the evening and will not be the wines that are used on the Home Sweet Home wine menu, nor the wines that have been used at previous Wine & Cheese evenings. The wine expert will match each wine with a food pairing and explain how and why each wine works with certain foods and why certain wines don’t work with certain foods.
The food menu for the evening will consist of some Home Sweet Home over indulging tapas, but they are keeping the menu under wraps while they fine tune it, but expect all the classic tapas dishes such as potatas bravas, croquettes, tortilla Espanola, calamari, olives, Chorizo and more. If it’s anything like the other special menus put together for their TexMex night or their recent Independence Day Feast this is sure to be something special!
