So what’s going on down at 2022NQ? Well this….

Its been another fantastic year down at 2022NQ with a plethora of DJs lighting up the basement from Greg Wilson and Norman Jay to Unabombers, Daniele Baldelli and Crazy P so they will be ending the year on another high and welcoming back to Manchester Jon DasilvaJon has resided in the woods of Sweden for the past 4 years and has been busily producing for a whole host of underground labels. Known in Manchester as being the co conspirator in defining the music policy of the seminal house club The Hacienda during the acid house era, Jon was slap bang at the centre of the early days of the UK house/techno music scene. Supporting Jon will be the Disco Mums. They recently blew the roof off 2022NQ for the Canal Festival after party. The all female DJ collective have graced the decks of some damn fine parties over the past few years with their vinyl only sets treasured classics and disco bombs. Further support comes from LA77 from Chips with Everything who is a regular player at their Friday night After Work Social and knows how to get the party started right!

Would be great to hear Jon Dasilva play some tunes on NYE. Not heard him play since the Hacienda! And its a great venue.

I have set up my own company just two weeks ago, after a few months of research. NYE is going to be my last night out for a long time. My business partner and me have ahead of us months of long hours at the office, travelling and hard work to make the project work. We would love to start 2014 in 2022NQ with style giving us all the positive energy we need for the rest of the year

I don’t think I’ve ever had a memorable NYE or even a NYE properly out at an event! I think that’s probably quite shameful but this year I would LOVE to have an excuse to get dressed up and celebrate with my boyfriend and some friends! I’d like to welcome 2014 in while dancing with my favourite people and with a drink in my hand please!

I moved to Manchester this year after living in a small boring town down South all my life. My boyfriend and I have friends coming up to see in the New Year with us. It would be amazing to spend our first NYE at 2022NQ and show the South what Manchester is made of!! Here’s to 2014!!! Can’t wait for what it brings!!
