The Slammin Boys 20th Anniversary with CJ Mackintosh

The Slammin Boys, Jamie Scahill & Mark Hogg, celebrate 20 years in the business back in the city that made there name, and the one they call home, and they aren’t doing it alone as they have a very special guest to join them in the guise of CJ Mackintosh (winner of the 1987 DMC Mix champion and part of MARRS who gave us ‘Pump Up The Volume’) at 2022NQ.

Over their 20 year career they have been round the globe entertaining crowds from New York to Moscow and everywhere in between. The clubs they have played is like a top ten list in the UK including Turnmills, Ministry of Sound, Bambu, The View, Hush, Tall Trees and Thompsons, whilst in Ibiza they have graced the hallowed decks of clubs like Pacha and El Divino to name just a couple. To top this off they hosted a Galaxy radio show for over 9 years showcasing the very best in dance music with the biggest DJs dropping by as guests.

Northern Quarter stalwart Mr Scruff brings his ‘Keep It Unreal‘ night to Band On The Wall tonight, serving up a huge melting pot of jazz, soul, hip hop, funk, disco, deep house, reggae, dubstep, afrobeat, breaks, latin, and of course tea! For his monthly residency Mr Scruff will be at the decks for 6 hours, making the most of the incredible sound system at this famous Northern Quarter nightspot.
