It’s another family affair at Stage & Radio! Beyond A Rhythm will be hosting their family party with what is their favourite little label hailing from the capital, No Bad Days. While starting life as a party and then a radio show and now having evolved into a label haven for undiscovered underground artists that have been lurking around dance floors. Hollick will be packing his records and taking the journey up north to be with us. Also, Rhythm Section regular and now No Bad Days junior release Z Lovecraft will be accompanying Hollick on the night.

Scruff of the Neck are busy in the Northern Quarter this Saturday with 3 gigs on in various venues. The collective are described as “making waves we shouldn’t ignore” (Hattie Pearson, Radio X) and a “Super-cool imprint” (Manchester Evening News). High praise indeed, but it’s the bands they pick and the shows they promote that make the difference. The first of the three shows is this one at Gullivers which features headliners The Hubbards, supported by Jake McRae and Seegulls.

As a producer, he makes music that draws on these influences, with a large dose of cheek and good humour. His cartoon drawings illustrate gig flyers, record sleeves and CD covers, and usually, accompany him at gigs as live animated visuals.
