Blacklights single launch party with Tone Puppets / White Heath
Local Manchester band Black Lights are holding the launch party for their new single ‘Enemy’ tonight with a live set and support from White Heath, Tone Puppets and more. The party will continue into the early hours with the Platinum DJs taking control from 11pm.

Three young guys from Manchester, two classically trained musicians and a young man with a voice to die for, have in the space of nine months, formed a band and written a full set of effortlessly beautiful songs that will make your heart soar. Jamie McCool (vocals), Jack O Connor (guitar) and Howard Eastwood (piano) are Black Lights and they are creating a big buzz around Manchester. Not yet in their 20′s, this precociously talented group demonstrate the city’s ability to produce music that has the rest of the country green with envy.

Formed in November 2011, Dread Your Last Day are a 5 piece hardcore act from Manchester. With the band’s combination of punishing instrumentals with the vocals to match and a blistering live performance, the band are set to hit the Manchester Hardcore scene hard over the next few years with inspiration coming from fellow UK hardcore bands such as Last Witness and Your Demise aswell as American bands like For The Fallen Dreams and Chelsea Grin. Araxa are a metal band from The North West of England, formed in March 2012. Their line up consists of Zoe Gale (Vocals), Dan Cole (Guitar), Rob Davies (Guitar), Thomas Gale (Bass) and Bryan Calcutt (Drums, Percussion). The band first started when Rob, Bryan and Dan’s old band collapsed. They then decided to start another one but this time with a Female vocalist.
