It’s Doodle‘s 5th birthday, so this one promises to be a little bit special! They’ve thrown some fantastic parties over the years, but because they’ve reached this milestone, they’ll be pulling out all the stops. After Andy Hart in May, they’re welcoming another Melbournian in Griffin Jones, AKA Francis Inferno Orchestra. With releases on a variety of well respected labels and having smashed the Boiler Room twice, his productions and DJing skills are highly sought after. As part of the celebrations, they have a pre-party at Eastern Bloc and then they’ll be partying at Soup Kitchen until 6am. Get involved!

PLY is taking Pride off the beaten track, throwing a bank holiday blowout and welcoming two of the city’s most well respected DJ’s to the decks. Jamie Bull, who was crowned DJ of the year in 2015 by Manchester Evening News’ City Life, is joined by DJ and producer Gina Breeze. Part of Manchester/London queer clubbing institution HomoElectric, Jamie’s tastes in disco perversions know no bounds. Fellow HomoElectric resident Gina Breeze kick-started her career as a resident at SpeedQueen and has since gone on to play at Glastonbury, Parklife and more. The party also marks the official Manchester launch of Absolut Mix – the limited edition Absolut vodka bottle being launched this summer in association with Pride. There will be an exclusive Absolut Mix cocktail available on the night with £1 from every sale being donated to George House Trust.

You can learn the full story of how Nitro was born, the formation of the New World Order, his dealings with Hulk Hogan, signing the Ultimate Warrior, his role in bringing Bret Hart to WCW, how his shock signing with WWE came about, and his involvement with TNA. Nothing is off limits, as Bischoff lifts the lid on his fascinating career. A must for any pro-wrestling fan.
