What's On in the Northern Quarter, Friday 13th March, DJ Yoda Breakfast of Champions, Band On The Wall

Band On The Wall
DJ Yoda Breakfast of Champions live band show + DJ Yoda AV set

For a week in September, DJ Yoda together with 13 emerging musicians, vocalists and visual artists he just met took over Band on the Wall to work together over 5 intense days to create a new and totally original performance live as part of the Wall of Sounds artistic residency series. What emerged was DJ Yoda’s new collaboration album ‘Breakfast of Champions‘. Now they return to Band on the Wall to take the live performance to a whole new level. With help from vocalists Sparks and Truthos Mufasa from The Mouse Outfit, beatboxer & producer extraordinaire Shlomo and rising wordsmith Rex Domino, it promises to be a night of epic proportions. Following the live show Yoda will be performing his world renowned audio-visual show until 2am!

“This is a new arena for me, I’ve done loads of collaborations but I’ve never actually tried to put together a band, so I jumped at this opportunity….I want Breakfast Of Champions to be the start of a real collective.”DJ Yoda
