The Northern Quarter Restaurant, Northern Quarter, Manchester

TNQ Restaurant & Bar (formerly The Northern Quarter Restaurant) takes up a prominent position on the High Street just up from the hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants at the Thomas Street junction. With a facade dominated by huge windows, just looking in you can see the quality this place has to offer.

TNQ prides itself on offering fine dining in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, using the finest ingredients the North West and the British Isles has to offer. It has a reputation for quality that has seen this exceptional restaurant recommended in the Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland 2011 and 2012, win the Opentable 2010 and 2012 Diners’ Choice Awards and be a Lancashire and Cheshire Life Restaurant of the Year Finalist 2011.

The restaurant offers a seasonal a la carte menu all day Monday to Saturday and a Sunday Lunch menu on (no surprises!) Sunday. There are also special menus for lunch Monday to Saturday and  the all day offer on Monday and Thursday even includes unlimited house wine!

Head Chef Anthony Fielden trained in top Manchester eateries and serves up gutsy and thought-provoking fresh food whilst using prime local ingredients with added flavours of the Med and beyond. The menu changes frequently making the most of seasonal ingredients.

“The next time you think about going out to dinner in town, forget the chains. Get this on top of your list”   Manchester Confidential
