The Blue Pig has launched a brand new Spring/Summer food menu, using fresh, locally sourced, seasonal produce to create innovative dishes with a distinctive “Piggy” spin.  You can check out the full menu at the bottom of the post but here’s a few highlights and pics to whet your appetite…

You’ve got to have burgers right? Of course you do and Blue Pig favourites The Blue Pig Burger and Chipotle Pork & Manchego Burger are joined by new creations Harissa Spiced Lamb plus Charred Chilli & Cannellini (VV) and Blue Bubble & Squeak (V) Burgers.

What could be more summery than sharing small plates over a bottle of wine or a few cocktails?  Pick your favourites to create your own dish, or choose any 3 small plates for only £13 – perfect for sharing! The selection includes St Louis RibsHarissa Lamb Meatballs, Masala Fish Fingers, Red Wine & Honey Glazed Chorizo, Crispy Pork PinchosBaby Bubble & Squeak (V)Chilli & Cannellini Falafel (VV) and more!

New mains include the summer influenced Slow Braised Pimms & Ginger Pork BellyBuffalo Trace St Louis Ribs, Chorizo & Haddock Bon Bons and Feta & Spinach Baklava (V).

Their all new Twisted Classics section includes classic British dishes with a brilliant spin; Masala Battered Fish is paired with Bombay spiced fries and a curry sauce, 8oz Rump Steak with dirty Bearnaise fries, Jerk Ham with fried duck egg, pineapple and chips, and Mexican Chilli Beef Sausage is elevated with avocado mash and sour cream.
