Record Store Day at Common with Piccadilly Records

Common have teamed up once again to host Piccadilly Records’ official Record Store Day live event in their very comfortable surroundings. Through the day they will be presenting to you a whole musical feast of live bands, disc jockeys, music lovers, great beers, super vibes and tasty food all in the honour of great music and the adoration of one the best record shops in the North West!

Specially hand picked bands will play live before your very eyes and record label peoples will be spinning large bits of plastic into the early hours to celebrate the event they call Record Store Day, come head down to Edge Street and join them!

The live music takes place between 2pm and 6pm when you will be entertained by Songs For Walter (2.15pm), Withered Hand (3.00pm), Nev Cottee (3.45pm), Dinner Party (5.30pm) and special guest Holy Mountain (4.30pm) with Jason Boardman (Aficionado) and Duncan Sime (Red Deer Club) playing tracks in between and before the bands. Then from 6pm the DJs take over in earnest with KBeard (Box Bedroom Rebels) playing between 6pm & 9pm and then the Piccadilly Records Staff take over until 2am.
