The meat mecca that is the Northern Quarter’s Almost Famous, has joined up with the Fire and Salt BBQ Company to bring you the ultimate BBQ bonanza and a night that is a true paean to porcine perfection.
Over two days these insane meat geeks will roast a couple of whole pigs over a specially designed and built southern style BBQ/smoke pit. They’ll be up all night slowly turning those piggies, basting the meat and getting it so super succulent that your mouth will be as wet as Michael Phelps’ trunks.
On Tues 21 Aug, behind Famous’ secret door, the Pig Out meat marathon will begin for those lucky enough to get their hands on the VERY LIMITED tickets (book through the site here). The menu is a pure piggy dream, so get booking before you get beat – it’s £25 a head, but that’s cheap as chips when you see what you’ll be getting your mouths around.
