Mancorialist fashion talks at Kosmonaut

On Wednesday 1st July, to celebrate The Mancorialist’s exhibition of its street photography at Kosmonaut, the venue is hosting an evening of tailor made talks from the world of fashion design, photography and branding from Layla Sailor and Lisa Stannard.

Layla Sailor is an award winning photographer who, inspired by cinematography and religious iconography, creates dream-like, surrealist works that reference traditional crafts, humour, sexuality and politics that have donned the walls of the Cornerhouse, Printemps Paris, Nouvel Organon Paris, Harvey Nichols and Red Bull Studios London.

Lisa Stannard is an international print designer and illustrator, with her own menswear and womenswear collection, who’s vivid and vibrant designs have seen her work alongside Alexander McQueen, Ralph Lauren, Nike and NastyGal to name but a few.

In addition, Grace Barry from Goodstock, who collaborated with Kosmonaut for the launch of the exhibition, will be there to talk about the charitable side of fashion retailing and helping young people to realise their potential through volunteering.

The talks are free but guests can sign up here to reserve a place.
