Tariff Street has seen some of the biggest change in the ever changing world we know and love as The Northern Quarter. Much of that renaissance was begun by Kosmonaut in August of 2012 when they opened the doors to this neighbourhood hangout.
In the time that it has been open it has seen many changes, growing in size to match design being one of the most obvious. All this time though they have been know for serving up a decent drink and this remains the case to date. The staff certainly seem to know their stuff and serve up a stellar menu of wine, craft beer and classic and contemporary cocktails, occasionally supplemented by specials like their barrel aged cocktail series. Have a look at the menu here.
The food menu comes with a bit of a twist as they’ve now partnered up with The Hip Hop Chip Shop who bring their take on some old favourites to the bar. You can find out more over at our full post here or if you just want to check out the menu you’ll find that here.
In addition to top class food and drink, Kosmonaut pays host to a wide variety of events and exhibitions. Keep an eye out for Art Social & the Illustration Showdown, comedy from Elastic Bandits & Gein’s Family Giftshop Bargain Basement. and of course Day Day’s #SundayFunday, which happens on Sundays funnily enough from 8pm. Plus regular quizzes, film screenings and renowned DJs keeping you entertained every weekend.
