Adult Rappers, Kosmonaut, Hip Hop Chip Shop

On Sunday 26th March, from 4.30pm – 7.30pm, Hip Hop Chip Shop x Kosmonaut will be hosting a screening of Adult Rappers as the first part of their brand new documentary season, Hip Hop Doc Spot.

Taking place in the basement bar, the guys at HHCS and Kosmonaut will be giving guests a “Main Event” from the Hip Hop Chip Shop menu and an ABC beer or house wine from the bar to wash it down with while you kick back and enjoy the film.

What does life look like when “rapper” is your job description? Adult Rappers pulls back the curtain on the world of ‘working class’ rappers. The film spotlights independent artists struggling to find a balance between making a living and pursuing their art alongside the never-ending saga of age and relevance.

Weaved together through a series of 30 plus interviews that are devoid of the ego so common in the business of music, especially hip-hop, the film traverses the country (USA) to explore the myths and misconceptions of life as a full-time rapper. Adult Rappers. A documentary stuck on the realness.
