Having graced the Northern Quarter for over a decade now Common is set to close its doors this March to spread out, spruce-up and “blow your mind” with a fresh new look.

Since its inception all those years ago Common has championed the city’s art and design scene, and naturally this will continue with acclaimed local creatives on board to develop the new incarnation.

When it re-opens in the Spring Common will have earlier opening times and an extended square footage making room for 30 additional covers, making more time and space for a new all day food menu and tip-top coffee, whilst they will of course carry on serving up the ace stuff they’ve always done.

The works all kick off on 9th March (so that’s when they close) and you can keep up to date with progress over on their Twitter. They will also keep us all posted on there about their closing week parties with Common Knowledge on the 4th, SMS on the 6th and Robert Parkinson on the 7th announced so far.
